Mike Johnson could call the House into session and put forth a separate bill to fund TSA and ATC... Same as he could do to pay the military.

But he hasn't.

Cancellations starting to roll in now on flight aware. If anyone needs rebooking help post here and myself or someone else can try and help you find options

I'd imagine a majority are going to be the major carriers partners like Mesa, Skywest, and the like operating for them.

United isn't gonna cancel a 737 when they could cancel an Embraier.

You're right, republic, mesa, skywest, endeavor getting hit harder than the mainline flights. But they are still cancelling some flights, some united cancellations below. Mostly chicago, newark, and boston which makes sense for air traffic congestion

My flight out of IAH on Monday is still a go as of now. It’s always 100% full, so doubt they will cancel that revenue

Im thinking of booking a last minute flight for sometime over Thanksgiving.
Any chance that if the government resolves this BS in the next few weeks that we might see some good deals for Thanksgiving due to so many people probably canceling travel plans?

Senate Dems would vote it down

He should let them... bc there would be nothing else tied to paying ATC and TSA and blame them for the cluster that will be thanksgiving travel

Just checked in for my flight to Portland OR tomorrow morning and hoping there is no last minute cancellation. Fingers crossed.

The cuts are being put in in advance. Your flight should be fine unless there is a weather or mechanical issue.

Yeah this is what I'm noticing as well. Airlines this time have sufficient heads up/time to organize their cuts in advance compared to a random thunderstorm or snowstorm event which can cripple operations last minute. I'd rather know about cancellations 1-2 days in advance to help with rebooking rather than getting stranded at an airport.

DCA currently at 4 hour inbound delays due to staffing. Several other airports like EWR, AUS, HOU, ORD, PHX also with 30-90 minute delays as well. Airlines may need to cut a lot more flights by next week

Flight out of Charleston canceled with 3 hours notice. What do we pay airline fees and taxes for?

Today has been a bad day for travel. Atlanta with 5.5 hr inbound delays, all of the other major airports with delays as well

How’s Charlotte looking?

Originally rebooked Southwest to BNA but that flight got too delayed to make
Connection. Now thru Charlotte. Any issues you see?

Cuse, do the delays get worse as the day drags on? I’ve got a flight from MLU-DFW-FSD coming up Thursday and just curious about the chance of delay both inbound to and outbound from DFW. Planned arrival for DFW is 7:02 and departure from DFW 10:14.

Charlotte had delays today, but didn't seem to be as bad as other airports. I would be worried though because charlotte flights touch nearly every other US airport especially the big ones like NYC, DC, Dallas, etc.So even if there's no delay at charlotte, your inbound flight could be stuck with one of those very delayed flights.

100%. I have a friend in town this weekend and his flight was tomorrow night to JFK at 6pm. I had him rebook to a 955am flight in hopes that even if he is delayed, he may still make it back tomorrow.

I just looked it's for the morning flights, correct? That's a long enough layover I'd be happy with that as long as the flight gets in to MLU the night before.

Correct, AM flights. Now FSD-DFW-MLU is a different story. Those flights are after 5PM, but coming home from a trip I’m not as concerned with delays/cancelations.

The rebook bug just got me. Was supposed to leave at 1245 SHV-ATL-CMH arrive at 700pm.

Now leaving at 5pm and arriving at 1215am. I have zero confidence in actually getting out today.

Yesterday PM was a total mess. I can’t get out any earlier today. I will likely be in ATL at the same time you are. Not overly excited.

Anyone who books a flight after late morning currently is just playing russian roulette...

The morning flights are gonna get out, but after first connections, its going to start backing up quick.
