DFW is top 3 American Airport

Even if you hate flying DFW is so easy to get in and out of! And if you like plane watching, nothing better than seeing 8 planes comes down in 10 minutes. The ATC’s there must make serious bank. Sitting in Terminal A right now and just darn impressed every time I come through here.
Can’t wait for those UberFlights!

Fine airport but I've always hated where it is. Before sprawl it seemed too far and during sprawl construction made it a nightmare. Good hub though.

Not a big DFW, Detroit, or Memphis fan. Flying out of the Golden Triangle was always nice as were SLC and Orlando. ATL, ORD, and MSP are nice hubs. You couldn’t pay me enough to fly out of Birmingham, Houston Hobby, or San Jose.
Our plane almost collided with some amateur idiot over Detroit (our plane pulled up steeply when we could already see the runway) when we were connecting from NO. My dad knew a pilot who told him ATC had already started emergency vehicles towards our runway. Big bank, a nice look over Windsor Canada, and then another half hour to circle around and approach. Since that day I refuse to book a flight if it connects there.

Agreed. Love is better. But DFW has one great redeeming feature: the security. Never taken me more than 10 minutes to get through. They run a good shift over there. Best in the country. Save for the shoes, it’s just as good as precheck. Meanwhile Miami and Atlanta make you want to blow your head off if you don’t have precheck.
