I don't have advice on frontier, but there's 4 flights before yours tomorrow. Use the link below and click Track Inbound Flight and you'll see the plane is doing Trenton- Orlando - Baltimore - Orlando - Nola before your flight. 50% chance of afternoon thunderstorms in Orlando so I'd expect any delays resulting from that

I flew them Orlando to San Diego a few years ago. It's bare bones travel. The biggest thing I remember is uncomfortable seats so maybe bring a cushion to sit on. Then again, your flight is all of an hour long so you should be good. It is what it is...cheap and gets you from point A to B.

I have taken them on that route a bunch when it used to be the latest one out of MSY. I like them more than Spirit for a budget airline. Planes were clean and newish and staff was nice.

My biggest complaint about frontier is that their tray tables are the size of a deck of cards.

I'm only slightly exaggerating.

For real though, I've flown frontier BNA to Denver roughly 10 times and never had any issues.

I just flew a three hour trip on Sun Country to Minneapolis. It wasn't bad at all with just a little less leg room. Slightly older plane without the fancy screen in the headrest in front of me to watch movies......

I appreciate the replies fellas. We goin to universal studios for a week from Alexandria and originally planned to drive but after seeing I could fly all four of us round trip out of msy for 400$ that was hard to pass up.

Looks like Orlando to Baltimore is delayed a bit (20 min) due to thunderstorms in Baltimore so it's likely to cascade eventually to your flight, hoping for the best for y'all

Appreciate your post and any follow-ups you can post after your flight THERE. Daughters and I are flying from N.O. to Denver(direct) on Frontier next weekend for a Father's Day trip.

My biggest worry seems to be the seat size/comfort/legroom for this three hour flight as another poster noted earlier. I HAVE flown Spirit and Allegiant before, but didn't have an issue with either in terms of those things-- heck, on the flight back on Allegiant, had the whole row to myself, which was nice.

We'll see...

Well you’re right I’m delayed like a mofo right now. I appreciate you linking that for me. Never used flight aware before.

I have flown Frontier quite a few times. I have never had a bad experience! New clean planes, VERY nice flight attendants, no complaints from me.

I’m a solo traveler who travels light and never has to worry about the comfort of anyone else, so I fly airlines like Spirit and Frontier a good bit.

IMO, neither is a bad airline you’re just getting what you pay for. It works for me because (even though I am tall) I can stand a little less comfort and all I need for most trips is just a backpack that I can put under the seat as a personal item.

If someone wants more, then pay more and fly with Delta or whoever.

I had a terrible experience with Frontier. Our flight from Portland to Denver got delayed 8+ hours.

People hate on Frontier/Spirirt/Allegiant, etc….

The reality is, you get a cheap flight with no frills. It’s no issue for a quick hop. I believe spirit has the #1 on time rate for all major us airlines, and the best safety record.

They are fifth now but have been the beat periodically since 2018.

I just went through the booking process for the first time today. It was an extra $45 for the bags and seat selection and $30 for the big seat each way. Even with those add ons the tickets were significantly cheaper than United. United Skywest flights b/t MSY and DEN are pretty terrible so I can’t imagine Frontier being much worse.

The Cub Corner (or something) kids membership for $59 per year sounds interesting. Kids fly free on certain flights and you get some other perks.
