My flight lands at 9 and our airbnb will not allow check in until 4. Rest of the group won’t be there until later. I will only have a booksack worth of clothes on me. No rental car. My fall back plan is to bar hop. I haven’t seen anything else on google that sounds enjoyable so wanted to see if yall have any ideas. Never been to Chatt before. Thanks

Take the Incline to the top of Lookout Mountain and just walk around the park up there for a few hours.

McKays book store, steak in a sack from Ankar's, maybe hit the battlefield in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga(about 10 minutes away from downtown).

The TN Aquarium and IMAX theater next door will kill a lot of that time. Recommend both.

I looked at both of those on my phone but I’m not so sure that they will let a single white male in a camo jacket into the theatre with a booksack

Point Park will. They don't take down statues in Tennessee.

The coolest spot, to me, around the Nooga is Foster Falls, but I have no idea how you’d get there. So I’d

Sorry if too late. Not a whole lot going on in that part of town. Could head down to the Riverpark near Chattanooga State and walk a ways. There is a nice river front restaurant in the Riverpark walkway called The Boathouse. You could walk all the way to downtown area.

Yellow Deli is a very cool place to eat downtown. I also agree with the boathouse.

Yellow Deli is a cult, but they've been there forever.
