3 couples, no kids, guys are all very good skiers.
Considering you have women with you, I'd say that eliminates Big Sky. There's a small town, but I wouldn't say enough stuff for them to do for however many days you're there if they get tired of skiing or the mountain.
If you're all very good skiers, I'd vote Jackson. Early March I've had excellent conditions there, the terrain is challenging, and the women have the entire city of Jackson and Teton village to explore.
Oh and the airport is like 15 minutes from town, 30 from the mountain. Fly right in and out. There are buses in town for easy transportation.
I say all this as a single guy though so hopefully someone that's done a similar couples trip can chime in here. I'd vote heavenly as option #2 as the town of Lake Tahoe has a lot going on, there's casinos on the NV side, beautiful runs

We’ve pretty much all done the CO and UT resorts many times over so looking for something different. If you were choosing, first week of March, would you pick Big Sky, Jackson Hole, or Heavenly? Any others we should consider?
Whistler and Banff are two other options if you haven't been to Canada. Big Sky will likely have the best snow but like Cuse said the town is kind of limited if you are a non-skier.

Where are you going?

Banff
Given our short trip (5 days) I wasn't considering Whistler. We've been there before as well. However, there are direct flights from Houston to Calgary so Banff may be an option we consider.
I see there are three mountains - Mt. Norquay, Lake Louise, and Sunshine Village. Is one better than the others? If we are staying in town, how close are these mountains?

Norquay-5 minutes
Sunshine-15 minutes
Louise-40 minutes
Louise is my favorite but Sunshine isn't far behind, Norquay is a clear step behind but all have fantastic scenery. I would only reccommend Norquay if you were going to ski half a day and wanted to check out the town and other places in the park.
Louise has the best advanced terrian, chutes and bowls. Some great cruisers as well. Sunshine is more up in the alpine so the resort perserves snow very well but can have some visibility issues, there is no place like it in North America though on a clear day. Neither place is very crowded, rarely wait in a lift line at either place.

St. Anton am Alrberg, gorgeous bluebird day out here today albeit very frigid, seems like temps will not dip far below freezing for the rest of the week and more bluebird days are expected.
Currently getting a leg up on the après-ski as allegedly this plays excels at it like no other.
Not gonna lie, there’s no sport like snowboarding to make you feel your age, I’m still shredding that gnar and hauling arse down the mountain but my feet are killing me and squatting down to strap is is a torturous cacophony of pained grunts haha…
But still it’s it great, m

I vacation in Fieberbrunn every year during August. Started my skiing journey in Feb 2020 and covid shut that down the following years. I was hoping to start again but life got in the way so far.
Enjoy the Alps.

Absolutely fantastic area.
Just got back from Whitefish. It was a great mountain with an awesome vibe. Its crazy when peak season for a ski resort isn't in the summer. Conditions were good except for some fog in a couple of spots. Bierstube was a great ski bar right across from the lift.

Dumping snow here at Schweitzer, day one has been a great success so far
Shweitzer is the one spot that I've always wanted to ski but just haven't been able to make it happen. Have heard a lot of great things about the place though.
I'm finally getting back on the slopes in about 10 days, going to ski Steamboat and Copper flying into Steamboat won't even have to deal with DEN which will be nice.

Locked in for 5 nights up in Crested Butte, 2/24 - 3/1 Mon-Sat. Beautiful condo right next to the Silver Queen and Red Lady lifts. Wanted a standalone house/cabin but I'm booking last minute during primetime so beggars cant be choosers
Gear ordered so far based on some brand recs from this thread + outside research:
- Smith Nexus helmet w/ MIPS
- Glade Fathom+ goggles
- Blackstrap Expedition Mask
- Stio Environ shell jacket (this was hardest decision, was really torn between this, Burton Cyclic, and Arcteryx Saber but Stio seems to be very thoughtfully designed and excellent for its price point)
- Flylow Baker Bib
- FreeThePowder RX Pro gloves
Going to use mostly Smartwool base layers from my hunting gear. Need to find boots but that is probably a whole day of research LOL. May wait till I'm in CB so I can get fitted properly at a shop

The snow was excellent this past weekend, my best trip of the year so far. I'll need to post pics this week

Yeah idgaf, they can call me Jerry West, Jerry Seinfeld, Jerry Maguire, whatever. I dont buy bullshite gear for anything I do. We can all laugh it up as I get smoked by 3rd graders, at least I'll look good and not be wet while I'm on my arse all day. Gonna be a good time

Just got back from skiing the Italian Dolomites at Val Gardena. If you have air miles to blow to me EU skiing beats US right now. The favorable price spread for lift passes, equipment, lodging and food/drink compared to what you pay at major US resorts is remarkable.
In terms of the experience - the place I went to was basically 90% groomed blues and blacks and lift lines were minimal. If you prefer off piste or more challenging terrain then maybe try somewhere else such as Austria or Switzerland.
Obviously the scenery was jaw dropping and the food and drink options on the mountain were incredible. Probably the best place I’ve come across for a chill / fun experience for the intermediate / advanced skier.
Definitely going back. Maybe will try Austria next.

I've been really looking at Zermatt, Val d'isere, Courchevel, and Kitzbuhel.
Probably do it in that order and sprinkle them into the rotation over the next 5-10 years.
