Expanded the quiver over the off-season.

I live in ski country, so gonna get a tremendous amount of days in if I dont brake something again.

Me and Mrs are going back to Vail week of Presidents Day. Can’t wait. This is our 5th year going and Vail never gets old or stale and the skiing is awesome

I love this thread every year….but man looking at prices is even more ridiculous than last year
Family of 5 gonna run me 9-12k minimum
It’s gotten absolutely outrageous

Yeah, Big Sky has gotten ridiculous and I pretty much have to stay in Bozeman if I want to ski it.

You can save some money skiing in early April, got a great rate on condo in Keystone last year on Easter weekend. Other option is looking at Canada.

Last year, airfare for us was the big one. It cost over $750 pp from MSY to SLC but it was President's Day weekend and the All Star game was in town that week as well so hoping it's a bit better this year.

Southwest opens booking for February this Thursday so that's going to dictate a couple of things for us.

99% sure we are headed back to Vail. Lodging there is just so expensive and the only thing that makes me pause. But the terrain and variety is almost unbeatable.

Seems like the lodging has gone up a lot since I went 2 years ago.

Lodging cost have gone up at a higher rate than experienced prior to 2020. It’s because the cost of goods and services are significantly higher.

Southwest's prices (MSY-SLC) were insane.

We booked First Class on American cheaper than Southwest with a better itinerary

Just checked the Southwest flights from MSY to Denver during Mardi Gras and there are no discounts. Looks like everything is above $500 for a roundtrip.

Looks insane. I drove by it earlier this season on the way to Revelstoke.

I did a cost evaluation for different resorts last year.
There were at least 10 for a family of 5 under $7k (excluding food/drinks).
Keystone, JHole, Winter Park, Copper, Breck, Beaver, Heavenly, Snowbird, Vail, Steamboat, Crested Butte, Nortstar, & Palisades.
Jackson Hole gives you a big flight discount through their website.
Most flights were $400/pp.
MSY to Denver was ~$200.

Only Aspen/Snowmass and Big Sky was over $9k.
