My 9 year old put a note, Christmas card and stickers in the mail a few minutes ago so Louisiana is on the board.

Maybe so. We went there first and were close to the front by the time ride opened, just our experience. My 9 year old couldn’t do single rider so that slowed us down a lot. I know the wait was 3.5 + hours later but not sure about that late in day.

If going soon I would say you can get the app and check wait times at various times during day before you go.

If you stay on property use the extra hour and get in line at Ministry of Magic. Single rider lines are the way to go if kids are old enough. It was kind of pointless to do mobile ordering then get to restaurant and have to wait in long line for table then can’t submit your order until have a table number. Yoshi ride and dragon racer’s alley not worth the wait.

Everything we had in park taste like 1993 hospital cafeteria food

We are at Epic now. We weren’t paying $1200 for 4 express passes but it is honestly not worth the trip without it at this time of year. Yes we knew the lines would suck but it’s been 120 -150 minutes on ALL of the premier rides. Park is awesome though, but the park food sucks.
The facility sucks and is stuffy as hell. It definitely feels like you are doing something wrong when you walk in the way the security is, but we have always brought in fruit and other snack foods for the swimmers with no issue.

The Natatorium is a dump but would be a better location. As far as LSU not being willing to give pool time I’m not so sure about that, it seems like lack of effort on LHSAA since LSU is at a meet in Athens all this week.
The L-00 is 24.75” which is considered full scale, correct?
Looking for a full scale smaller body acoustic electric with solid wood top. Prefer to stay $1500 or less but could go higher if the right piece. Thanks in advance.
Thanks everyone. New videos from Federales Fest just added in OP
Here are a few more and some drums. He is going to break out George Strait, Bruno Mars, and the Cranberries this weekend at Federales Fest.

War Eagle Pete, absolutely will reach out next time we are up that way! He ended up on stage in Nashville a few times just by the band seeing him going along in the crowd. I need to upload those to YouTube as well. Then we were in Blue Ridge GA this summer and he did an open mic night then got invited to join the host the following night at a little restaurant he was playing at. It has definitely become an adventure
Oh he is into electric already. Drums as well and is better at drums.

Thanks everyone for all of the encouraging comments. He truly loves playing music and being on stage. He will be playing next weekend at Federales Fest and we are looking forward to that opportunity!

Guitar room
Thank you! He definitely is not scared in front of a crowd.
My son had the chance to play a few songs at Live After 5 this past Friday. He is 9 and has been playing guitar since last summer as well as drums for about 4 years. It was an awesome experience for him and I just wanted to share and brag. I know CSB

My 9 year old son likes to wear his cowboy hat with only boots and boxer briefs. He plays both drums and guitar well and his favorites are KISS, Elvis, Johnny Cash, AC/DC and the Highwaymen. He has a record player and sports a faux-hawk mullet like Duke Reilly when he was at LSU.

Thanks everyone. Glad to hear it is a good event. My 9 year old son is going to play a few songs at the fest and we didn’t know what to expect. Hoping it is a great event and opportunity for him!

Anyone ever been? If so how is it?

Federales Fest
We did Crested Butte Mardi Gras 2024. We drove from Baton Rouge. Left after school on Friday 5:00ish. Drove straight through, picked up groceries in Gunnison and rental equipment in CB, checked in and hit the ground running the next morning. Never waited more than 2 or 3 minutes to get on a lift, perfect weather and crowd size was just right for the resort. The town of CB is also great, still a small ski town, no big chains at all. Was by far our family’s favorite ski trip.
2 different ships, this is straight from your link…

“The USS Yorktown (CV-10) was the tenth aircraft carrier to serve in the United States Navy. Under construction as Bon Homme Richard, this new Essex-class carrier was renamed in honor of the USS Yorktown (CV-5) that was sunk at the epic Battle of Midway in June 1942.”
My 8 year old takes drums and guitar lessons at BR Music Studios. We don’t personally need anything but I would be happy to meet up and pick up and get them to Doug. I know he is always open to accepting and distributing items like this.

All places on Broadway allow kids until 6pm. There will likely be some language here and there but overall kid friendly.
