My plan is Revelstoke, Sun Peaks and then Whistler.

We are leaving Revelstoke tomorrow for Whistler.

I wish we weren’t.

I spoke to a local today that said Revelstoke has gotten snow every day in February except one.

18/19 days of snow.

Go to Revelstoke and just hunker down.

Snowed it’s arse off in keystone today from first chair until a little after lunch. Once the sun popped out around 2 pm or so the last couple hours were incredible with the fresh powder. Did some night skiing last night and it was great. 2nd trip to keystone and I must say it’s pretty awesome so far. Staying at red hawk lodge which is a really short walk right onto the river run gondola.

Duke is there any chance of closures at Copper with this winter storm rolling in on Wednesday? We’ll be there the next 3 days.

Im not concerned.

Yesterday did and today could see the lifts servicing the bowls get shut down on a weather hold.

Wednesday wont be that windy.

We're headed to Denver Thursday night to board Fri-Sun. No idea on which Ikon resorts yet. I'm hoping to fit in a day at Steamboat

Most of the Dew Tour will be at the half pipe at the base or at their Woodward Park section.

Get up early, stay up top and you’ll never see any of those people.

Copper can hold the volume.

So there I was riding up the Orange Bubble Express with a local older couple who lives in the colony. He asks where I am from and I tell him I am a Mardi Gras refugee here from New Orleans. He mentioned something about the crowds this week with the NBA all star game in town and then being Presidents Day and I made the comment that at least it should be lightening up a bit.

Then, out of the blue he says..."well yeah, until the queers get here"

I didnt know what he was talking about but let it slide and just chuckled at his honesty and candor and zero F's about really anything....then I got back to google what he was talking about.

Pretty sure every resort town has a special weekend for them.

Well of course. The event itself is not a surprise or an issue but the conversation sure was funny to me.

Yep. I can see that. When I'm in Colorado, I do my best to keep quiet on all things political...I'm very much a minority out there...haha.

President's Day had Killington packed big time. Got clipped from behind and got a sweet sprained wrist to take back home with me.

Hopefully can get most the pain/swelling down quick. Kitzbuhel in 10 days for one last hoorah this season.

Opted for skipping yesterday and doing Snoqualmie Central/Alpental today. Central got 4", Alpental 13" overnight.

Current conditions- Heavy snow and blizzard like. Should be a great day, Crystal tomorrow!

Its the logistics at the base that are going to be a huge pain in the arse.

Yeah, you can probably not wait much to get on lifts in the back bowls (tbars have been catching 10 minute waits on normal weekends) but at some point you'll need to park/eat/drink/sit in traffic.

I would say typical ski the Beast type day. Mountain constantly making snow and just some random patches of ice. Ramshead and Snowdon were fine for the most part.

South Ridge was ALL ice. Black runs off the Gondola I stayed away from because ice and the amount of people on that particular face.

Yesterday was awesome in Park City with 23" of new snow and nice comfortable temps with low winds. I am sure today will bring the powder hunters but it's going to be awesome. Had to pull out the old Justin Vincent jersey to rep for Mardi Gras day and heard quite a few GEAUX Tigers throughout the day. Thanks for the feedback helping me to just decide to ski both days.

Today the wife and daughter are heading shopping so I plan to take alot more photos on the mountain. When they saw the temps today and yesterday with a high today below 20, they opted for warmth over powder.

Yeah, no reason to watch world class athletes in person.

Whistler/Blackcomb is a real circus. Vail resort, epic pass and Family week.

Amazing the amount of people here. Feels like Walmart.
