Damn...that wasn't the case in the past...or not when I bought family lessons years ago.

Yup!
$900 for Family all day lessons and $140 per adult lift tickets. Freaking expensive day!

We paid $350 for 3 hour private lessons from a guy who had never taught adults before. What a racket!

Premier? No idea what that is.

I prefer Copper over Breck anyway.

Not promoting a bad vibe, snow riding is always good living.

Cheers to all.

Prost.

Heading back to CO at the end of Feb, I guess I will start praying for snow now. Planning on hitting Copper and A-Basin, not sure where for the third day yet...Might do a second day at Copper if I can get a parking spot or maybe Keystone or Loveland. Got a cheap flight into EGE.

Copper is worth a second day, IMO.

Hopefully the snow Gods will show you great favor.

Good luck!

Are resorts enforcing masks in lift lines? If so, what’s the best way to handle it? A buff? Seems like a mask would be tough to wear with helmet/beanie.

Brighton, Snowbird and Powder Mountain heavily enforced masks in the lift lines, even telling many people to pull the masks up over their noses.

I used a buff. It worked pretty well.

Even the buff wasnt enough to ride the Tram at Snowbird. They provided medical masks to put over the buffs, however.

Brave new world.

Yeah, thinking either second day at Copper or making the drive to Steamboat for a day. Would add some driving to my trip but I have never been to Steamboat.

SBS is absolutely worth the trip. My advice, don’t ride down past the gondola until you are ready to leave, as all the families congregate in that zone.

Morningside Lift brings to you to some of my favorite zones. You can also feed the birds on the lift if you’ve got snacks in your hands.

Breckenridge question-

How hard/easy is it use the Peak 8 Super Connect to get between Peak 8 and 9?

Looks like I'll be staying at the base of Peak 9. Do you take Quick Silver up then ski down to Peak 8 Super Connect? Or can you walk to it from the base?

You cant walk to superconnect from the base.

Take quicksilver or beaver run and then ski down.

Okay, one more-

Base of Peak 9 at Villages of Breckenridge or Peak 8/Gondola area at Mountain Thunder.

Which would be better as far as non-ski restaurants/walkabililty?

Has anybody been out to Purgatory this year? Heading that way for Mardi Gras. Looks like they have gotten good snow the past week or so.

The village is literally on the edge of Main street. You can walk everywhere from there.

With that said, Mtn Thunder Lodge is much nicer and although you cant walk to town form there, they have multiple free shuttles that run.

weather patterns have generally favored the southern rockies so i would imagine things are better there. if you go to wolf creek not far away from Purgatory you are going to have a great time

I have Anon M4 Goggles which come with a magnetic mask. Seriously the best ski purchase I’ve made.
