YouTube TV pissed me off when they added about 10 channels to my package earlier this year or last and increased my bill 10 bucks despite me having no desire for the channels they added.

I’ll happily cancel this and go to Fubo. Will probably do it later this morning.

ETA: PSVue was the goat. Really miss it.

Just started free trial with fubo. Interface/guide seems fine.

ETA: Actually seems quicker switching between channels vs YouTube tv....maybe the grass IS greener!

I’ve been trying to cancel my membership for 10 minutes and can’t seem to find where to do it. App directs me to the web. On the webpage I cannot find an account settings or membership option. Anybody know where to go to cancel? I’m on iPhone.

You have to be on desktop version to cancel if I remember correctly.

You have to be on a computer. I couldn't do it on my mobile phone web brower or app. Go to tv.youtube.com and click settings.

Yeah I am cancelling this morning. I have Sling that I can watch ESPN. I use to use Locast to get locals then they dropped that. So I was using YTTV for locals during football season.

Is Hulu my best option for locals? I need to check them out and see if I can use it on my firestick.

Trying fubo, dropping yttv.
Fubo same price, plus weather channel which the wife wants for some reason.
Different interface but will get used to it.

That was it. That was a joke. Fubo has cooking network and DIY network which we had on PSVue and not on YouTube. Fiancé will love that.

Thanks. I am in Brasil so antenna picks up the wrong locals I need.

I'll give it a try.

Is anyone else's NBC stuck on an Alicia Keys interview? Apparently it's been like that for several days.

So... I've just cancelled YouTubeTV.
Do we have a consensus on which service to switch to for live sports (LSU), live news, movies, etc.?

-Hulu with live TV
-fubo
-Sling

Any recs would be much appreciated...

Trying to figure it out as well. I already have a Disney+ subscription, so I might sign up for the HULU and ESPN+ bundle.

quote:

Getting The Disney Bundle with an existing Disney+ / Hulu / ESPN+ subscription
So you already have a subscription to Disney+, Hulu, and/or ESPN+ — looking to bundle and save?

If you already subscribe to all three products separately, the best way to get The Disney Bundle pricing is by contacting us via phone or chat so we can help you manage your subscriptions. Otherwise, select an option below to learn more about maintaining your current subscription(s) as part of The Disney Bundle:

quote:

Existing Disney+ Subscribers
As an existing Disney+ subscriber, you are eligible to purchase The Disney Bundle. Follow the appropriate signup steps, and we will give you a credit against the price of The Disney Bundle in an amount equal to the then-current retail price of your existing Disney+ subscription (or the monthly equivalent, in the event you have a Disney+ annual subscription), as long as you have both.

If you purchased Disney+ through a promotional offer, you’re still eligible to bundle and save. After you’ve redeemed your promotional offer, upgrade to The Disney Bundle and we’ll provide a credit against the price of The Disney Bundle in an amount equal to the monthly value of your Disney+ offer. This credit will be applied to the price of the Disney Bundle subscription every month for the duration of your offer.

Ironically to this thread, that's another thing that's a mark in streaming's favor. Even when I get the itch to go back to cable (which is very, very rare) I never do it, because I remember how much of a pain in the arse it is to start up, and then even more so when I try to stop. Streaming generally doesn't fight you either way.

ESPN+ is garbage... Doesn't get you any of the ESPN networks.

Going to have to get Hulu live

I just put it on and there is an Alicia keys interview and it froze with a spinning wheel. I can't say I've put it on NBC since Sunday at least before that.
