This is getting ridiculous. Was $35 when I signed up. Are there better options these days?

i'm not really sure there is. It's still much cheaper than traditional cable. It does suck though.

I had been teetering on the edge, but this pushed me over. Price is too spicy. I'm dropping it before I renew at the end of the month, and I'll take a look at it again before football season kicks back up.

They're all getting pretty similar in price.

I'd take a long hard look at what channels you tend to watch the most of and decide based on that.

I know that I found that most of the channels were completely wasted.

I am fine with Pluto TV for most stuff. If there's some specific sports network you're interested in, shop around. Even consider OTA. You'll probably find that you don't really need all that much.

It’s maddening that they keep raising the price bc they’re adding content.. but i don’t want any of the channels they’ve been adding… have they ever polled their customers?

Alphabet dgaf what the consumer wants. They make what they want to make and destroy what they want to destroy.

Hulu is the only other affordable option *IF* you use ESPN+, Hulu, and Disney+ already. Outside of that combo “deal”, they’re all virtually the same price and increasing at least 1x every year or so.

Just did a basic comparison, and I'm still saving $75/month by going YT route to meet my family's peak TV watching demands. One of the biggest problems with traditional cable is the nickel & diming. Extra charges for a box. Want to use the dvr function, extra price. Need to be able to record and watch something else at the same time, add on. Record 2 shows...

They dropped the 4k price so I'm actually saving a couple bucks for unlimited streams.
