Does any have issues watching sports on YouTube TV? It is very choppy. It doesn’t matter what TV I use or if I stream it on my phone. TV’s are hardwired and I’ve got 2GB service. It’s not the internet connection.

I rarely have issues

Stand alone roku boxes or sticks on every tv

Have fiber 500 mb/s and run 3 streams at a time plus whatever other crap in my house no problem

I don’t have issues.

From what I have been told 2GB is overboard for home use. The tech guy at my work said 2GB is enough to run our 40 person architecture firm and we’re all running on virtual units.

Same. I have a 1gig connection and I use my XBox Series X hardwired.

And 2GB is overkill. You only need something like 10-15 mbps down per stream. Maybe even less.

If you are just using the built-in TV Apps, try a dedicated streaming device. Built-in apps are usually crap.

I'm using a NVidia Shield for the streaming. I don't think it's the device because my phone is having issues too. It is the oddest because it is only when the action is live. When they show an instant replay there is no choppiness. It is annoying as frick.

Uninstall YouTube TV, then reinstall, check for updates

If that doesn't work, do a hard reset on everything down the line? Disconnect the connection to your house, disconnect modem/router, disconnect TVs. Let sit for about a minute, then start reconnecting backwards (TV, router, Modem, connection at house).

If that doesn't work, then I would ask the internet provider to send a reset signal. Tell them your issues, and that you did a hard reset (do NOT tell them you disconnected the house and reconnected it; they hate that )

These are the cheap/free "fixes"

I have 1GB service, never get over 800 and don't have any problems with live sports. I am running into a lot of glitches watching anything that is in my library on YTTV

I saw an issue like that for CBS recently but that was a CBS issue and not YTTV.

Something else to look at is how many devices you have pulling your internet. I have 6 security cameras, 2 hot spots and about 20 devices connected to those hotspots. The security cameras do sometimes cause issues.

2GB is enough to run a small town. We used to have 1.44mbps (or .00144Gbps) for a 500 person plant and 300 computers. Before tv streaming but during the Napster days.

Zero issues. What kind of TV's. I use fire sticks with all mine and it's flawless. Some of the built in apps on TV's don't always perform the best.

All the CFB and NFL I watch on YTTV is always smooth and clear. The only problem I find is when I watch LsU games I always seem to be 10 or 15 seconds behind others in the game thread. I just don't piss and moan about it, begging others to wait a few seconds before posting like a little bitch as some others do.

I avoid TD like the plague during games for the most part because the Score Board is totally insufferable.

I had YouTube TV for a couple of years before changing back (for various reasons) to Cox. I never had issues with YouTube. Wish I had never switched away, but you know....

No problems - older Roku. Only problems I have are the recordings or Library or whatever - saved/recorded things are choppy.

You may want to run a speed test and make sure there aren't any issues.

I have 1 GB down, but when I checked a couple of weeks ago, I was only getting ~15 MB down. They had to replace the line from the outdoor box into my home and now I'm consistently over 900 MB.

(1) Wi-Fi issues
(2) interference in the line creating drop packets

I have 0 issues, watched the game out back today streaming the game.

It’s fricking weird. It is only when the action is live. On an instant replay where the speed is the same (not slow motion) it’s smooth as silk. It definitely something with the broadcast.
