58" Panasonic. Still works great and picture is crisp but we're moving on to a bigger size. Is there a used market for these or is it not really worth it?

They are heavy and older, but there isn't much on the market that can beat a plasma (outside of an OLED). Unfortunately, people want lightweight and thin bezels and "4k." Plasmas, as you know, have none of these. Hell, mine even buzzes.

I would put my Panny Plasma right up next to my LG OLED in regards to picture quality, contrast, and clarity. It is simply that good when comparing regular HD programming.

I would keep it.

You could sell it on craigslist for $50 but you would have to deal with people looking for TVs on Craigslist

Honestly I'd be surprised if someone took it off your curb.

I'll probably just donate it or put it on the curb.

I just didn't know if there was some market for them seeing as plasmas really do have the best picture outside of OLED as of now.

Definitely not worth dealing with craigslist creatures to make 50 bucks

It's interesting how everyone pretty much concedes Plasma was a better picture yet we let inferior LED tech take over. This shows you how falling for mass marketing campaigns can be such bullshite.

I've missed my Panasonic plasma for years now watching shittier LED.

Finally got an ultra 4k OLED and it is fantastic.

Finally.

My first flat screen was a 50” Panasonic plasma 720p from Circuit City.

Gave it to my brother several years ago, and he is still enjoying it.

I get pleasure out of giving away things like that, and I don’t have to deal with the kind of idiots and criminals who would respond to a $50 TV ad on Craigslist.

Same. I have a 2007 Panasonic 42" plasma that's still going. Picture is as good as it was almost 12 years ago.

I dropped it one day moving it. Had to throw it out. Monitor quality. I almost cried.

I am still using my pioneer kuro plasma from 2008. I haven't seen anything that will make me get rid of it yet. Im Dreading the day it dies and I have to replace it.

TVs are so cheap nowadays, almost bottom of the barrel trailer park trash will buy them. Even new 4k TVs are at a great price now.

Just watched the Saints on my 08 50" Panny. The two year old Sanyo LED just doesn't have the picture for sports.
