Probably a Sony or LG. Find the tv buying guide on Reddit for current rankings of the models.

Best 75” tv wont be 75” inches, because oled doesn’t come in that size; they come in 77”.

Samsung Q80R is a great 75" TV I have that currently, only hangup is no HDMI 2.1 ports. But other than that picture looks awesome, great for sports and gaming other than the newest consoles that require hdmi 2.1 to take full advantage.

No dolby vision is a fairly big drawback for anyone wanting "the best."

I have a 77" Sony A80J OLED and love it. Best TV I've ever owned.

So, I get the feeling Sony is the best option?

Well, it really depends on the model. If you're wanting an OLED, I'd say Sony or LG. I prefer Sony, but you can't go wrong with an LG OLED either. Especially a C1 or a G1 (hope I'm getting the models right). If you're a gaming freak and own both a PS and XBOX, I'd probably go with LG, due to their four HDMI 2.1 inputs. Sony only has two, and one of them is the audio port for your soundbar, which which would really annoy the piss out of me if I had two gaming systems.

If you're more interested in LED as opposed to OLED, I'd probably go with Samsung's flagship model. I believe it's the QN90A. I've read great reviews about this TV being one of the best LED TVs ever, but as another poster said earlier, Samsung doesn't do Dolby Vision.

Good luck picking out your TV!!!
