ok I think it's the same connector used for a nintendo switch docking station to charge controllers

That is a micro USB. Mini has a sort of saucer plate shape.

Note- there are charge-only versions that don't transmit data. They aren't necessarily marked. I found the right one finally on Amazon (I hope!), but they are certainly not all created equal!

The Fender Mustang LT25 features a Micro-USB 2.0 port on its top control panel. This port is used to connect the amplifier to a computer for direct audio recording into a DAW, installing system firmware updates, and managing presets via the Fender Tone Desktop App.

I got all that figured out, the curve ball was my micro usb cable I harvested from a nintendo unit turned out to be a charge-only cable that would not transmit data so the computer and the amp couldn't talk to each other. I did not know there was a charge-only version of USB cables but now I know. I bought a transmit cable and everything is going great.

What nintendo do you have lol? My switch is usb-c input, my switch controller is usb-c as well.

I don't know, it's my kid's. This is not the switch itself, it's a separate charging station for controllers. Looks like a little cylinder on a pedastal, and controllers snap down into it.
