I have a Sanus, but they don't recommend it for outdoor or house brick use.

Drill it out and use concrete anchors. Do it in the mortar if possilbe.

32” TVs are so light now I’d use command strips

Just bought an 85" for the living room, moved the 55" to the media room, then putting spare 32" outside.

I needed a 40" or 43" for a bedroom and the Black Friday 55" deals were cheaper than the smaller TVs

You’re gonna regret 32” as soon as you hang it.

This. I used a generic swivel mount on a wall just like that. Used tapcons in the mortar.

I don’t think you realize how small it will look up there. These words spoken from someone who did exactly what you want to do. It wasn’t too long after that when I went out and bought a 50”. Same thing happened at my brothers house. I told him that he wouldn’t be happy with the 32” I put up for him outside at his house. About one month later he was asking me to come mount a bigger TV outside. What sucks is if you mount the 32” and then decide you want something bigger you will have to buy another mount because the one for the 32” won’t be able to be used

It’s a hand me down TV not one he decided was big enough and bought. I agree I’d go bigger, I’d still mount a small free one that I had already and swap later.

Look on monoprice for a vast array of cheap mounts. They have some that go 32-70”. Even if the mount sticks out of the sides some it’s ok if you plan to go bigger one day.

Drill into the brick like VA said just make sure you use a hammer drill and the right bits. I have also used those blue masonry screws that done use the anchors with good success. Not on anTV tho.

As others have suggested, get a larger "cheap" tv. If you decide to mount the 32", attach to the brick, but make sure to get a mount that can handle a larger TV. You will move on from that 32" with the quickness!

If I was purchasing a tv specifically for that spot, I would go bigger. I'm just doing the tv shuffle for now. That wall is on my patio which is the outside of the garage (rear garage accessed from an alley). Is the a pole mount that I could hang down from the rafter instead of drilling into the brick? Just looking for options. Thanks all.

Or, build or buy a small table to put the tv on, for now.
