What are y'all using for live sports? Sports Devil is entirely worthless right now. Downloaded "Pro Sport" a few minutes ago and having no luck.

I use sports devil and usually don't have problems..just have to find the area of sports devil with the best links and always remember to go back to that.

Cut the cord. Homemade yagi antenna in attic I get 20 ota channels (I live between buffalo and toronto) and kodi. So far I get everything I want and more. Live sports not an issue and put an addon made in Canada on kodi box. Good addon all tbe cdn and us channels like my satelite dish minus the 100 bucks a month

Which add on did you add for sports..you didn't tell us that part?

Made in canada has live sports .... ok mainly hockey but I'm canada and sportsdevil. Both have worked well there are a few other addons that have sports as well. It looks like if I want to watch handball in Nepal I'm good to go

My neighbor has a small tech company and sold me the boxes and did all the programming I am just scratching the surface w what he loaded. Made in canada also offers espn and other sports channels

I have a Roku stick and have no problem accessing Amazon Prime Video but my boyfriend has Chromecast and uses his Iphone to cast but he can't get to Amazon Prime video. Is this fixable?

So using a Tablo basically gives you a DVR for OTA and makes it so you don't have to run coax to the other tv's in your house from your antenna correct?? Seems kinda expensive for only providing that.
I don't see why it's needed.
It's simply just to record shows on local stations. If you have Vue, they have ondemand for all major networks except CBS, and in BR they just got WAFB live so you can record CBS shows now.
Having Hulu is basically the same thing, without CBS, as far as watching shows from the major networks.
Having Kodi nullifies all of that and you watch whatever you want whenever you want, for free.

I hesitated on buying the Tablo for a long time, because it is a nice chunk of money up front (maybe $400 when it's all said and done). But after having it through a football season, I'd say it's paid for itself already. It's also nice to have the local news sometimes, especially during that crazy summer we had.

Agree completely and since the Tablo records I find it easier to record locals and watch later vs finding them on Kodi when I have the time. To each their on on that tho I guess.

I cut the cord with just a couple weeks left in the regular season and was glad I made the Tablo purchase for this reason alone.
It certainly isn't for everyone but for me and my needs it fits perfect

Yeh I don't record much OTA TV but when football season hits, I'll need a Tablo.

Welp, buying a 4th gen Apple TV and starting a PS Vue trial. All goes well I will soon be kissing U-verse tv goodbye.

Finally cut the cord and I'm running PS Vue and OTA antenna, Netflix, etc.
Is WBRZ broadcasting OTA right now? It's the only local channel I can't pickup. I am catching WAFB which is VHF also no problem.

Thanks for the reply. I'm in Prairieville. May have to mount the antenna higher.

Anyone have a link to install kodi on firestick that actually works? I've tried several YouTube videos that are instructions on 16.1 but 17 automatically installs and I get all jacked up.
Posted on 2/23/17 at 9:29 am to Uncle JackD
are you going through ES File explorer?
Posted on 2/23/17 at 9:33 am to meauxjeaux2
Yeah. I actually got 17 installed now. I just need to learn the processes of adding and removing sources and repos... this is all new to me.
