Honestly, it looks cheap to me.

The curved screen? I don't hate it. I don't think much of it at all, really. It's not a deal breaker or maker when I am looking for a phone. I like great build quality, light skin and less/zero bloatware, dual front-facing speakers, great camera, great battery life, and a phone that doesn't run hot.

Maybe Samsung has made large strides but my experience with them has been absolute shite. They have great screens and great cameras but really that's about it.

Learn to quote then, I said glass, which is what you quoted and replied to.

Which was based on a negative response to a glossy phone. Glass back isn't the only option for glossy phones, but we have just been arguing just to argue for awhile so any response by me won't matter.

Yeah idk, I don't get that myself. It looks premium as can be to me. The one thing all the early reviews and hands on have said is how great it looks and how premium the craftsmanship of it feels in the hand.

It does have dual stereo speakers btw, they turned the top earpiece into a speaker as well which I thought was pretty damn cool, I love my dual speakers on the 6P I was gonna miss them.

Well, that's good. I'm sure it feels good but I don't think the back looks very nice. The front does look pretty snazzy though.

Right, I guess I don't see the relevance when I said the iPhone is going back to a glass back and you replied to that with this past gen looks bad.

I much preferred the look of the iPhone with the glass back versus the last few gens.

Yeah they kept it the same as the previous ones only with glass instead of plastic. Same camera design and location, same Samsung wording in the same spot. Didn't change anything I don't think.

I kind of wish they would have changed it up a bit but at the same time cases make the rears pretty irrelevant anyways.

Which was in direct response to "Not a lot of people like the gloss look." They have one currently with that look and it looks like garbage after minimal use.

I never really did like the feel of those older designs. Wasn't much option back then though, like going back to a classic NES controller today.

To someone else, both times. And it was separated with a line break not in the reply to the quote. It's fine though, I think you were wrong with the learn to read and messed up the reply/quote thing but it's fine.

I never cared much for the design of them but I did always like the feel of them, they always felt so premium and well built. The newer ones don't feel that way to me as much.

So use Nova like most people? Or whatever launcher one prefers. Most do.

I do, but Nova doesn't change your dialer interface and the like, does it? I'm sure it has improved but when I had a galaxy a launcher didn't keep it from still looking clownish in parts.

I know I can go get replacements for pretty much every aspect, but my point is that what Samsung does makes zero sense and I can't imagine there is some significant group out there that prefers the Samsung UI, rather, they just tolerate it.

Most hands on with this phone have said it was the best build quality of any phone they've ever held.

It's looking more and more like this phone ticks all the boxes from a hardware standpoint....software could be a different story....no yet known to the full extent though could be great as well.

So how is this a bad thing....unless you are saying all these people are in Samsung's pocket....I guess that could be true.

I know for certain that these things weren't said about the Pixel....more people were disappointed by what the Pixel didn't bring than by what it did have.

A lot of people say that about Apple and I don't really buy into it and I hate Apple products....to an irrational level.

I certainly don't buy into it with Samsung....especially after what went down with the Note 7.

Just my opinion though.
