Jesus, I think I got it for 60 on a black friday around covid. 750 is insane considering they never add any features. WTF.

I never actually read the EULA or terms, I'm sure there's some wording in there somewhere that gives them an out.

Would you buy lifetime Netflix for $750? I probably would just because they don't want you to have that option.
I've already got my lifetime, but man - Plexamp is probably my most used streaming app of all time. Still a no brainer. But they need better onramps to that pricing.
It feels like a lot, but 4 years of any $14.99/Month streaming service and you are there.

Is there any reason to use Plex over jellyfin except app on more devices?
Jellyfin did have a serious security bug a month ago but it was fixed quickly. I haven’t heard of a billion dollars going missing or an entire password manager being compromised like what happened with Plex.

That's insane. I paid $75 10+ years ago. A paid Plex server is how I watch all my tv. Being able to download with Plex Pass has been a necessity over the years.
