I spent a little extra on my mount. High quality sumar. It extends up to 20" and swivels in all directions. I would do pull ups off that thing

Leave it to TD to tell you to go bigger. Fwiw I have a 39" on my porch and would prob go a little bigger if doing it again, but all in all its not bad

have a 42 inch with a wireless genie on my patio. Works perfectly

No extended warranty is needed. If it's fully enclosed and free of rain you're fine.

The Man I wanna talk to. Have you had any issues with the wireless at all?? I don't wanna deal with a spotty picture

I know. But this is sorta a temporary fix until we cover the rest of the patio and build my outdoor kitchen area.

I have a 50" and it's not as big as you think. You got 5-10 people hanging out and you'll be glad you went a little bigger.

The wireless has worked really well

A lot depends on how far the patio tv will be from the main genie unit because that's where the bridge(router)wil go that plugs into your genie and sends the signal to the wireless client.

One thing to note is since it's wireless, the response time Is a tad slower(maybe 1-2 seconds) but haven't had an issue with pixilation or buffering. We had a party Saturday and had it on from noon-11pm and never had one issue.

Go ahead and get it you won't be disappointed.

The woman told me it works up to 80 feet from the bridge.. My patio is no more than 40' so distance shouldn't be an issue.

I currently have a 42" LCD outside on a swivel with DirecTV genie. I preplanned though and had electricians run coax and power up the wall. I'll see if I can find a pic. Been there since August of last year. No issues.

My thread on it.

Got a 40" RCA for $229. Just finished mounting it. I just need to get an outlet put in the back of the TV next week sometime.

I'm looking for something to mount below TV to hold my genie box and Apple TV, any recommendations?

Can you put your apple tv and genie inside the house on the other side of the wall? You can run an IR extender through the wall behind the tv and use your remotes.

I have command strips attaching mine to the back of the tv. I'll take pics when I get home.
