I have a very similar patio with the vinyl siding like yours and I want to mount a tv outside but I just haven't figured out the best way without the siding buckling and looking janky as shite. How did you get yours mounted into the siding and what kind of mount did you use?

Mine isn't siding, it's hardy plank.

It'll work. It can be buggy sometimes, rarely, but sometimes.

I personally don't have vinyl siding, but does it have a solid substrate? (i.e. plywood, particle board etc.) If so, you could drill a hole through your vinyl and put spacers behind your mount on the screw holes, so that it would not push the siding in

There are studs and plywood behind it. I hadn't thought of spacers but that's a great idea. Thanks ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconcheers.gif)
