Is DirecTV losing the NFL access for 2023?
For those wanting to watch any NFL game for free, try streameast.com. All you need to do is register an account and sign in each time you log in and you can watch whatever game you want.

But screw DirecTV and their $180.00 monthly bill for one receiver!
Damn. Mine is that for 3 HD dvrs and 1 HD receiver.
I’m still tired of paying what pay now.

They don't give a f--- about their customers. Same with Spectrum and internet/phone.

I threaten to cancel DIRECTV every year and they lower my price back to around $70 a month for over 200 channels and give me Sunday ticket for free.
$80/month for Hulu+Live+NoAds+Entertainment-Add-On. I get 121 channels which includes all the ESPNs, the SEC network, NFL Network and none of the QVC crap. No phone calls needed.

About a month ago Directv added a new streaming app that pretty much gives you Directv Stream for free to satellite custmers. So you really only need one Dirctv box and can stream every channel in your package using the app. If you have a storm that messes up the sat signal you switch over to streaming. I live in MS and used the app in Gulf Shores a few days ago and could watch all my channels inc local MS channels in Alabama. Not sure if there is limited number of streams at once.
Ok, this was very helpful. I have two extra bedrooms for guests and had a DTV receiver on one of them, as well as one in my master bedroom. I have Fire TV's in all three bedrooms and just downloaded the DTV app and logged on to my account and they work perfectly so I can get rid of all of the recievers but one, which is on my living room TV. I also downloaded the app to my iPhone. Thanks for the heads' up! Since DTV no longer has the Sunday ticket I will eventually be switching services (probably to You Tube TV) but this works great for now,

TiviMate makes it so simple.

Except the "No Ads" is an absolute lie and I have no idea how they can get away with it. Literally any other product that you advertise as "No_____," but filled it with______, would be not accepted.
Try opening a restaurant and advertising a dish as "peanut free," load it with "peanuts" and see what happens.
Screw HULU.

TLDR: I called DTV and they reduced my bill to less than half. From $186 plus taxes to $90 plus tax.
Extended version:
I was intrigued by the cord cutting discussion so I tried the DirecTV Stream app. I liked what I saw, so decided to call to cancel the satellite service. As it turned out I didn't test drive DTV Stream. I actually was using the free app for DTV Satellite. Yes I'm prone to being a bit of a moron at times. Because of my pleasant experience with the app I told them to cancel anyway (I figured the actual Stream app would be as good or better than the DTV Satellite app) and they dropped my monthly bill $70 a month for a year, $100 gift card, $55 dollar bill credit for the partial month at the higher price, all premium channels for 3 months and Regional Sports network fee to keep me to stay on Satellite. I will have to keep my Genie but no hardware charge for it. My two Genie Mini satellites boxes will be returned knocking off $14/mo. I have AppleTV and Roku boxes already so no need for the Minis.
Not saying everyone can get this deal but is worth a shot. I'm a VIP customer they say and were willing to do just about anything to keep me.

At this point they don’t want to lose customers and will more than likely work with you

I don't disagree with this at all but they basically matched the DTV Stream offer to keep me on Satellite. Almost like a competition between the two. I made it clear I would switch to their streaming platform and not leave the tent. A streaming service has to be cheaper to maintain than the legacy satellite/hardware business.
