Tired of absolutely terrible customer service & support as well as the price gouging. To hell with Direct TV.

Which streaming service do I go with? PlayStation Vue, Sling TV, or Hulu live tv?

Sling by a mile. Hulu isn't terrible either. Don't touch PS Vue

I’ve always wondered why people spell it as “Chord”. Why?

It really depends on what you want to watch and the price points.

Depends on how much TV you watch. My PSvue comes with all locals MLB, NFL, and NBA networks. I value that because I really only watch sports. If you just want the basic channels like USA, TBS, etc Sling is fine, but it doesn't have all the locals or good sports channels.

I have HULU, jail broke fire stick, and 150 mile range HD antenna. Cut the cord a year and a half ago, haven’t looked back.

I switched from Sling to Vue. Sling kept buffering like crazy on my. No issues with Vue.

I've been wanting to do the same thing but am unsure what alternatives to go with to cover the stuff I watch. I already have Netflix. The only TV shows I'm currently keeping up with are Better Call Saul on AMC and Game of Thrones on HBO. I'd also want access to live sports mostly for Saints, Pelicans, and LSU.

With DirecTV I feel like I'm paying for hundreds of channels and I only watch like a dozen of them.

I use YouTube.tv.

It’s awesome at $40/month. I dropped my bill from 265 to 110/month (40 for YouTube and 70 for cable)
