Probably the worst ISP in the United States.

They are really hit or miss depending on where you live. Either you will have constant outages or you will never have to contact them. I've experienced both.

Rock solid in Dallas, but this is based on the time Warner infrastructure.

Mine has been excellent for the last 12 years. I know that I am the exception, though.

Same with me and Cox. I have never had an issue in 5 years. Never even had to reset the modem.

you want us to believe you have never restarted your modem or had a power outage in 5 years?

Only had them for about a month but my speeds are high and the service has been consistent. The tech was half an hour late for the install and Spectrum gave me a $20 voucher for my trouble (I didn't complain or ask for this, so that was nice). We'll see how they are long term, but for now I'm happy.

In my area they are far and away the best as far as speed goes. We bought a house and luckily the only issues we've had are with hardware that we purchased. Be sure to check and see if you can get 200mbps if you aren't already.

I'm in Dallas and they are good. Probably the best option here. I will say, you need to get your own modem and router rather than use what they provide. Before I got my own setup, I had to re-boot once e a day at least.

i never have my internet go out. prices aren't terrible. but supposedly im getting 200mbps and i hardly ever get past 60. Suddenlink was much faster imo.

Restart for performance reasons. But that is correct, never. Modem and router not stock btw.

Have had them for 1.5 years or so, everything has been good. Never have any outages. I recently saw them advertising speeds of 200 Mbps and when I got my plan 1.5 years ago I was capped at 30 Mbps.

Recently ran speed tests and was still capping at 30 Mbps. They had someone out to check on the issue the next day and said the line had been split too many times and a new one needed to be run. Had another guy out the following evening (after 5pm so I wouldn't have to miss anymore work) and he got the issue fixed within 30 minutes. Turned out they still had a regulator on the lines capping everything at 30. Once that was off I was hitting 120's on my speed tests, but I think my Docsis 3.0 modem is the limiter on that one and I need a 3.1 now.

point being...even when I have had issues they got it resolved in a timely manner. That mixed with never having any outages has made me like them.

Spectrum doubled my bandwidth and cut the price down when they took over time Warner so they are ok in my book..

If the service works, great. If not good luck. It is a possibility that it will NEVER be fixed. I believe their help desk and technicians are trained to blame everything else under the sun and mask the real problem.

They have been pretty consistent in my area. I got a random email the other day that my speeds have been increased to 200 mbps. Did a speed test just to check it out and had 211 download, so I no complaints here.
