I haven’t bought a tv in a long time… We’re not big tv people but my living room Tv Is kapoot. I have TCL’s in kids room and patio and I’ve been satisfied. How good of a buy is this? QLED is the good stuff?

Seems like a pretty nice TV for the money if you don't mind sending all your info to China

Pretty good deal. I bought the 65” Class 6 a couple years ago for about $900. I think the biggest difference between the 5 and 6 is the latter has a lot more contrast control zones.

Thanks for the heads up on the sale. I just got the 55" one for under $300 for my office.

It's a good TV at a good price. I have one on my back porch.

Bought that tv awhile back for same price from wal mart. Not the latest and brightest, but very happy with the purchase. It also comes with voice remote.

I don’t think I have much info that’ll be useful to Chy-Na.

That's a common misconception.

They take data first, and find the value in it 5-10 years later. They don't care if your biometrics have value today, bro.

Ok, so the Chinese will know that my kids watch a shite ton of bluey and my guilty pleasure is jersey shore.

So fricking what.

I think some people believe that they can access your network and other information on the network. I usually have a guest Network or two set up for these devices and sometimes only turn them on to update and then turn off the Wi-Fi. The only things that go on those guest networks are suspect devices. They're all sorts of crazy devices that seem like Trojan horses. We have an electronic cat feeder that connects to Wi-Fi and I'm pretty sure that the reason it's so cheap is it's a data collection device

Appreciate the thread on this OP. I was in the market for a 65" TV and bought this one. It works for me and I'm fine with the picture (and price).
