Doesn't really seem that different than it's main competitors.
But looking at it, I finally realized the device itself doesn't really matter. If the physical hardware is up to snuff, everything else is just up to software either on the device or more likely on the company's servers.
If one of these companies comes out with a new software feature, the others can pretty easily copy it and add it to their product pretty quickly.

friend of mine who works for Honeywell said this particular product was created to compete at a lower price point.

I work with Honeywell engineers on nuclear security projects and flight sims for various aircraft and future space hardware. These guys are incredibly intelligent and well trained engineers. Honeywell is an awesome technical company.

Completely anecdotal, but I was watching msnbc a few years ago and the host asked a panel of 4 people to pick one company/stock to own for the next 25 years. One guy chose Honeywell.

These look far better than the Honeywell I was considering. Thanks for the post CAD, I will probably end up with two of these in my home.
