$499 is a fantastic price on the 32GB version.

i'm going to let the dust settle on the latest devices.

I mean you charge the thing for ten minutes and it restores 7 hours of battery life

Don't think you'll need to be worried about the charging too much

That still requires daily charging, maybe more than once a day.

Sorry but I'm out without Qi.

If you've never tried wireless charging, don't. It will really piss you have when all of the clowns have it one generation then skip it.

I guess this means, I'll stick with windows for one more generation.

Assumed so, gonna hold off still until reviews.

Surprised the ship date is so long, late October?

I ordered to have a place in line, but not shipping til end of november so if I change my mind before then I'll cancel. Or worst case return the phone and eat the shipping.

Love my tylt as well, but the Moto XPE still has SD support so I bit the bullet. 499 for 64g with SD support. Can't beat that.

So is the industry slowly moving away from wireless charging in lieu of faster wired charging? What current phones have it? Oneplus 2, Samsungs (gross), G4, lumia... is that it?

I don't give a rat's arse about fast charging.

With Qi, I can pick up the phone do what I need to do and drop it back on the charging pad.

I thought wireless was a gimmick and I never would have purchased it on my own, but the pad came free with my lumia and then they sent me a second one by accident. I now have one at work and two spots at home.

It may seem like nothing but it's a game changer for me and I will hate every phone manufacturer if they get rid of it.

I love my wireless charging. But if you only need to plug it in for 15 minutes at a time, I suppose my wireless charging habit can be broken.

Is the new Chromecast better than the Roku3 or the new AppleTV that's coming out?

Chromecast isn't an app driven devices... it's a mirroring/cloud play device. Two completely different tools.

That being said, Chromecast will do exactly what most people do with their Rokus and AppleTVs.
