Performance has been pretty good for me lately. I have to blame the Fire TV for some of the issues I do have. It's the only device in my house that loses network connection for absolutely no reason. It did it on WiFi and now does it on a powerline adapter.

I actually just called customer support. They told me that if you are on the prepared 3 month Apple TV promotion the free HBO wouldn't start until after the 3 months. However, the agent went ahead and started my HBO now. So if you are on prepay just call or chat with them and they will get it going for you.

Also, I asked about Roku support and was told the Roku app will be released on or after March 31st... Which is the biggest bs answer I've ever heard haha.

I got the email and had already signed up for HBO @ $5/mo....I'm guessing I just won't be charged for the next 12 months.

Yea, I'm in this same boat. What's the latest for us folks? Do I need to go into my account and cancel the HBO I already was paying for at 5$ a month?

No, you will be credited for the HBO on your monthly bill. I read this last night on Reddit from a guy who posted an email from DTVN addressing this exact question.

I thought I was going to start getting billed (did the initial apple TV) but it says next billing date is April 7th, weird.

HBO is working on my phone.

you're probably getting HBO free now

Doesn't matter if they can't fix their buffering/streaming issues. I can't tell you how many shows I missed the last 10-15 minutes of because of DTV Now's crappy service.

I did and all they offered me in my most recent email was $5 off per month for the next 6 months.

Ive have zero buffering issues since day 1 and the only time I missed a show was the one night the service went down. Eatels record at my house isnt exactly stellar the past 5 years. Cant tell you how many times the "Solar Flairs" completely whipped out regular tv service, and those would go on for a couple days.

I had horrific buffering issues for the first 2 months or so. It has been pretty damn solid lately.

I couldn't watch shite this past Friday night without buffering issues which precipitated by possibly hasty switch to PS Vue which I'm quite happy with so far.
