Not sure how to go about this since the apartment I live in only has Cox internet available. Football season will be going in dry...

ETA: and before any Cox rep tries to tell you any differently and spew off this bullshite about how 1 TB is "more than enough for the vast majority of customers," rest assured this is a big "frick you" to cord-cutters who stream instead of paying twice if not thrice as much for shitty cable.

And to the folks criticizing those whom this will actually affect, consider this: What if cable companies put a cap on how much time you and your family could spend watching cable? It's a product you already pay for and doesn't cost them shite if you go over this arbitrary limit, but now, after all this time, there's a limit you'll have to pay extra to exceed?

I love how they act like your using more data than the arbitrary bullshite # they spit out is justifiable grounds to charge you more money when for the past 17 years, it wasn't a problem.

the only real costs they have is infrastructure upkeep and sales.

You using 1000 times that amount of data does nothing to their ability to provide service or keep up their infrastructure.

You are now paying for all the people who cut their 500 useless channels and are streaming.

Aren't HD movies only like 3gb? How is this even a concern unless you watch TV 10+ hours a day?

This statement blows my mind.

What other option do you have?

There's another high speed reliable cable coming?

You still would need each of those using the internet like 10+ hours a day

Man I'm so fricked. We use over 1TB most months. Especially during football season.

If you manage to use 1TB of data a month you need to rethink your life. That's an astounding amount of data. Then again, I don't have kids, multiple tvs, and 3-4 laptops phones and iPads.

it's bullshite that they are capping it. These frickers will get their money one way or the other
