With the new foldable Razr phone?
I think it’s a game changer

It will cost at least $1500.
Steep, but then again ballers can afford it. I guess it all depends on how crappy the OS is gonna be.

Is it just running Android or are they trying to do their own OS?

Any chance I'll be able to flash the new software onto my OG Razr?

I hope it’s something that can be verified to be free of Chinese tampering.
Letting Lenovo first buy IBM personal computer, then IBM’s server business, and then Motorola never made sense to me. Maybe Google excluded anything of security value by keeping the Advanced Technologies & Projects unit & keeping control of patents before it resold Motorola to Lenovo.

Motorola is already a player in the affordable phone business. Their Moto G line runs in the $200-$300 range and the specs are sufficient for 90% of cell phone users.
A great option for anyone on a budget or just tired of paying $600-$1000 for a phone every 2-4 years.
As for the foldable Razr, nice to see some innovation and competition. That video is pretty dope.

Yeah, I paid $250 for my Moto X4 and it's been a solid phone. Battery life on it is insane. Can go 2 entire days between charges during the week, but I also don't use it a whole lot while at work.

I like the Moto line alot. I'm honestly curious though who are the other 10% and what stuff do they use their phones for that a Moto G6 can't do?

I won't be buying one of those but I've had Motorola phones for 20 years and love them.
When my last phone crapped out I had to switch to an LG because Verizon was sold out of Motorola's and I had to have a phone that day. I hate my current phone and can't wait to go back to a Motorola

I like the G line except for their lack of nfc. I use my phone for mobile payments on occasion when I don't need/want to carry my wallet.
I have a z2force and I love the phone. It's fast and has no bloatware.

I owned a Samsung back then

Now I own a OnePlus, which many average phone users have never heard of.

It may not be feature set, could be quality of features and user experience. My brother has a G6 Play and, while still very useable, it is not very snappy, the screen sucks in the sun, and the camera is .. meh. If I needed to save some money, then yeah I could do it. But a couple hundred more and your experience will be very different
I have a OP6T. OP is the perfect compromise for flagship/budget

I've used the Z2 Force for a year or so and short of the camera, its the best phone I've had in a looong time...I don't run a case or screen protector on it and it could probably drive a nail
