That movie about the earth freezing over has some pretty good sounds in it. I forgot the name of it.
The Day after Tomorrow.

Did you test out the sub placement? In the corner can often lead to it sounding muddy/boomy.
Also, can you control the AVR with those doors closed?

No, not really another place to put it. But it sounds great to me.

Yes, universal rf remote with a IR blaster in the cabinet.
Biggest problem is heat. I found an awesome website with fans and mini thermostats that I ordered a setup from. Hasn't gotten here yet.

I’ve got a Dolby Atmos setup with 11 Klipsch RF-series speakers plus two 15-inch Klipsch subs. And I’ve got about 500 blu-rays mostly chosen for soundtracks.
My go to reference scenes are the canon pull, shelling scenes in War Horse and his gallop through no man’s land.
Also agree with all other war movies mentioned in this thread. But I’ll add this — the climactic racing scenes in Seabiscuit.
Thumbs up for Interstellar, Master and Commander, the opening scene of Fifth Element, Hamburger Hill, U-571 depth charges, Saving Pvt. Ryan final battle, Thin Red Line for music and action.
And here are some stirring scores that test your setups: Hunt for Red October, Legends of the Fall, The Right Stuff, Crimson Tide and Oblivion.

I like the a infinity line...they have some cool stuff. I’m building a new AV rack going from a 44u to a 35u to push it back further in my AV room. I’m using there 2u intake and exhaust fan setup.
Intake fan will go on the bottom. Will have custom faceplate shelves for the equipment so it will control the air flow. In at the bottom out from the top.

We finally have enough furniture and rugs to take some of the echo away. I'd love some suggestions.
