Of all the products shown today, I'd go with the Watch Series 3 (cellular) first
Although I do like the realtime sports UI in the ATV4K. Does Roku/Fire have that?

The 999 price point was predicted for well over a month, that isn't surprising
Suspense was in availability, and waiting a month+ to preorder is going to impact a lot of decisions.
I was fully ready to pay 1000, but now I'm thinking an 8 plus and the new watch sounds pretty good

The form factor of the X is supposed to be about the same size as the 7/8 with a screen bigger than the plus. They are different aspect ratios so I'm not sure how well that extra space will be used. The 8P is a 5.5 inch screen and the X is a 5.8 inch screen.

Interested to see how AT&T is going to handle with X for customers with upgrade plans. I am on the 12 month upgrade plan. Hopefully I have the option of kicking in a little extra money and getting the X. Not sure on which phone I'm getting yet but I'll be pissed if they pull some shite that locks me into only having the option of the 8.

Other people on that plan are pissed, because they are paying 2 extra months before trading in for the X, assuming you can do so.
This may be a situation where one of my vices (impatience) helps me avoid another (spending more money than I really need to).

i think the dealbreaker for me is that stupid faceID thing while removing the touch. why do that?

The only thing I like about it really, is the edge to edge screen. Other than that its pretty meh.
