65 inch TV recommendations….

Upgrading from a 47 inch to 65 inch mounted on the wall above fireplace. Looking in the $500-$600 price range.

Currently have a Samsung and it looks like Samsung 65 inch Class 4k Crystal UHB DU800 is a top pick on Lifewire. Amazon has it for $420.

I would step up and get an OLED TV. QLED doesn’t have the sharpness and blacks the an OLED has.
When watching movies or shows with dark scenes, QLED is difficult to see. If you are only watching sports that are bright, you will be OK with QLED. I have noticed the difference and will be replacing a year old QLED.

Hisense U6QF, the U6 Pro at $749 is best bang for buck though.

Look at the mini-LED models. TCL makes really good mini-LEDs around your price point.

The cheapest one is my suggestion
I have a 70” Onn that I bought from Walmart cheap as I could find. It’s going on 5 years with zero issues and the picture looks perfect to me

Crazy. A litlle over a decade ago, a friend and I were talking, agreeing that the days of finding a decent 32-inch TV for as cheap as $300 may be a thing of the past. Now, you can get a 32-inch TV for $100 that has as good a picture quality as some of the more expensive ones back then.

Around 11 years ago I bought a 65 vizio for 2300, now you can get a 65in Vizio for under 500.
I bought a 65in Oled Sony Bravia 6 months ago for 1500. Best tv on the market. Tv's as a whole have gone down in price due to competition i guess. My daughter bought a TCL Qled 65in for around 500 and it looks as good as mine. Weird how it all works.

I'm a tech nerd by nature, though I'm not really up to date on a lot of things these days. If I start going down a rabbit hole on picture quality, I remind myself that the worst resolution TV they have now is better than anything available before I turned 30 or anything I could realistically afford before I turned 40.
