USSF hired a set piece specialist who previously worked for the danish national team setup. Lars Knudsen. Apparently more and more teams are doing this.

16-year-old Serge Ngoma came on and scored the game winner for NYRB against Atlanta tonight. Looks like a very quality player for a 16 y/o. Never heard of him before.

I have no clue who this kid is. I’ve seen him listed on RBII rosters when checking my scores app but really know nothing about him. But damn that was a composed interception and finish.

Player to watch as a possible surprise for the season. Owen Ottosowie at Club Brudge. He may well have gotten his head straight and might win a starting Center back role.

Watched most of the 2nd half of Chelsea’s friendly, Pulisic came on at half and looked pretty damn good. Definitely more explosive than he had been and looked good going right at defenders.
Created a few chances but missed a header a little high that he probably should’ve scored on. Overall thought he did really well though.

I saw Philly’s comeback win against NE last night and was pretty impressed by Jack McGlynn. Someone made a comp and his passing is fricking impressive. Definitely one to watch and he probably earned himself more playing time. It remains to be seen if he can do the defensive work necessary for his role though.
