not getting reassigned this year?

FIFY (I think. Somebody needs to post the TD version of the English football pyramid for me.)

Why did you call it reassigning?

It's a running TD Soccer Board joke that The Championship is actually the best league in England.

So a team in the Championship will get "relegated" to the Premier League or "reassigned" to League One.

ETA: I think is mis-used Reassigned.

Found it

So what are the odds that the Wanderers can actually pull off not getting relegated this year?

Sadly, slim to none. They simply do not have the budget to pull off upgrading the overall quality of their talent as I read the supporters group on FB.

IF there is some financial reward for being up a division this year, they may be able to sign a bit more quality over the summer and make another run at it next season. Now that the players, staff, owners, and supporters have a taste, they will wish to replicate.

They’ve been so close in some other games. In a more normal season I think they’d have stayed up. Still a chance but they’re gonna need some serious bottling to take place above them

They should be back in the championship in 2 years though. Nice to see bayo get his first goal in the big time

Also Ainsworth is the most likeable manager in soccer. Dude looks like the front man for an AC/DC cover band.

If they didn't have such an abysmal start to the season , they probably would have stayed up

Jesus. Just seeing this. Came to the soccer board to read about the super shite league and found this gem. I’m definitely buying that Mardi Gras kit. Filthy.

So this is the team chairman and owner of the Feliciana company that owns 75% of the club?

Rob Couhig

Interesting dude. Did not know he brought the Zephyrs to New Orleans and also ran for mayor of New Orleans against Nagin in 2006. I remember that debate being on national tv post-Katrina. Wonder how he came in to buying an English club one step away from Premier League.

One succeeded in English football. One is in jail convicted on 20 of 21 counts. Surely New Orleans elected the correct person... right?

All we need to stay up is 3 points and to erase an eleven point goal differential.

21 Derby County -22 43 Sheff Wednesday
22 Rotherham United -16 40 at Luton, at Cardiff
23 Sheffield Wednesday -21 40 at Derby
24 Wycombe Wanderers -33 40 at Middlesbrough

they might need a 20-0 win

Probably just an investment opportunity. More common than you’d think.
