In each of the last 3 summer transfer windows Leeds nearly signed Gvardiol, Kvaradona and Gakpo. But all 3 deals fell through. I am melting.

Look at the body language. The Brazilian players look frustrated. There’s almost a fearfulness that they could lose it. Croatia is comfortable and calm in this position.

I feel like Brazil feels like they have the quality of guts on the field to NOT miss any pks. I bet Spain thought that too. If Brazil do not scor in ET I think they lose in pks. And I’m conflicted bc I want Brazil to win but Luka is one of my favorite players.

I’m with you 100% I hate it. But games like this where it’s long and people get tired. They look for any little excuse to catch their breath and obviously hopefully get a foul.

It’s the knock out of the World Cup. They are overmatched by pretty much every team at this point. It’s basically their best shot so I don’t blame them. World class players from the other teams should break them down and make them pay. If they can.

They need to start issuing yellow cards more often for this behavior. I know it's difficult for the on field ref. But officials should be reviewing tape to issue yellow cards after the fact.

The flopping around wincing in fake pain when barely touched or often not touched at all should be carded.
