So who does Sweden get to play in R32?

Fotmob says France with current results. I assume that can change but have no idea.

A draw for Paraguay is probably good enough? 3 points and -2 goal diff

France wins the group with a draw. Norway has to win because of GD.

They'll get either France or Norway.

I really want it to be Norway for the neighborhood rivalry aspect

This World Cup has been perfect except for the fact that the US will not play 1 game on the East Coast unless they get to the final

I'll accept it.

If we play on the East Coast it's to conclude the American Revolution of Soccer. The birth of a new Superpower will once again take place in the American Northeast.

As God Intended

I believe Morocco and The Netherlands are ranked 7 and 8, and they are playing in round of 32.

yes. Really any 3rd place team on 4 pts should be through. There’s already 3 3rd place teams guaranteed to have 3 pts or less and there will be at least 1 more I’m sure so 4 pts is the threshold to advance

Scotland really needs Paraguay to lose by 2 goals tonight to have any chance at staying in the 3rd place bubble. They're currently 8th and Paraguay is 7th

Scotland is the last one in at the moment.

If Cabo Verde and Belgium draw in their respective games they both will advance as being the best GD of all teams with 3 pts.

If Cabo Verde wins, they clinch second place in group, which means that Uruguay needs to at least get a draw against Spain to clinch a knockout spot with 3 pts and a GD of 0. Which would bounce Scotland.

If Cabo Verde and Uruguay lose, then Saudi Arabia advances to the knockout and Scotland still has a chance depending on the absolute clusterfrick that is Group G

Fun fact: if Cabo Verde and Uruguay both win tomorrow, then the Group winner will be decided by GD.

Yep, whoops. Had a brain fart and forgot they'd move from 3 to 4 points.

And the most fun part.. Spain would be a 3 seed.. far far away.. and the United States would have a legit chance to reach the Semi’s

US vs France

Brazil vs Argentina
