It's the best. You almost wish they did this every year.

Pick an EPL team and get Peacock (if you don't already have it) then get your fix in the fall before College and NFL start

EPL is the best. Unfortunately you can only watch most games here in the morning or afternoon.

English Championship is the best league in the world. No VAR, more traditional grounds, extremely loyal fanbases and promotion playoffs.

Before anyone asks, thought I'd add this ...

Any reason why there's no combined UK team instead of individual "national" teams like England, Wales, Scotland?

They’re different countries.

You are notoriously racist against Mexicans. Why again do you think any of them here in the USA should be sent back, even those contributing to society and paying taxes?

Because technically they are separate countries. They will go with Team GB for the Olympics, but soccer and rugby are too important to combine.

This wasn’t a serious question, right?

Good point.

My wife is from Banbury and I'm most familiar with most cities in Oxfordshire and generally like Reading (have been a bit since they're been at EPL level) and Maidenhead.

Banbury is like 6 or 7 levels below EPL and Maidenhead is pretty close to that. I love to go to the local smaller matches when we go there.

So, I can see why someone would like English Champ. since it's got very good teams and a lot to play for.

Because none of the 4 FAs want to join up

UK citizens, particularly the 3 non-English, generally regard their national identity as Scottish/Welsh/Northern Irish first and members of the UK second. It's 4 countries within a country
