Italy just don't play youth in their top leagues. They stock most of their top teams with also rans and has beens from the other top leagues.
They also cycle through the same 7 coaches every few years
I think Brazils problem, honestly is all their top players go to Europe now, from a young age. Better coaching, but probably coaches a lot of the individualism out of them, and outside of a few top attackers, they just don't produce the athletes needed to play the modern game.
Why else are young bringing a bunch of 30 plus dudes who can't do anything one thing well to a World Cup?
