Didn't watch any of Argentina until seeing highlights now - Jordan keeper had to bet the Messi over 0.5 goals

That was pathetic

This game was like...

Algeria scores late and says, that was for 1982.

Austria comes right back and says...I'm sorry, did you say something?

Portugal was my pick to win it all. Time to cash that one out

Couldn’t beat Congo, got outplayed by Colombia, have to win 5 straight games and have to get through Croatia and Spain to begin with. Ronaldo, we hardly knew ye

I think the Fox folks are underplaying that insane finish…I’m Austria-adjacent but going from being out to being in within a matter of seconds seems pretty significant

I bet there are some poor Von Trapp sapps who missed it by either turning off or breaking their TV when Algeria scored.

Did Algeria “allow” that last goal after mistakenly going ahead at the end there?

I mean…you want Spain or Switzerland in your next game? Hmmm….

Maybe algeria realized in that last moment they fricked up with that late goal pitting them against Spain and Portugal route instead of Switzerland and Colombia

Interesting that Austria scored in the 6th minute when only 4 minutes were announced..

Algeria scored late in the 4th minute.. not sure they should have had that much time.. but F Iran

The goalie made an executive decision

Saw that header coming in low slightly to his left and said - I'll stick out a lazy foot and let fate decide
It was tight, but a world class keeper COULD make that save

Group J ends the World Cup group stage with a bang!!

Messi nets his SEVENTH goal of the group stage as Argentina sweeps through the group with a 3-1 won over Jordan. Jordan will now head home.

Meanwhile... even with a draw benefitting both... Austria & Algeria went for it. 3 times a lead was taken, & 3 times it was tied back up, with 1 of each happening in stoppage time, to get that draw, 3-3. Both advance to the knockout round.

Final Group J Standings:
Argentina 9 pts +7 GD
Austria 4 pts 0 GD
Algeria 4 pts -2 GD
Jordan 0 pts -5 GD

Man those last few minutes in the stadium were nuts. Everyone was booing Algeria at around the 85th minute when it appeared they were just gonna sit on the draw, but lulled everyone to sleep scoring that goal. Place erupted but man that Austria goal just had everyone shocked.

Possibly the best game I've ever attended in person.

I can't even imagine what it was like to experience that in person.
