A tie would be even better. But a Ghana win sucks for the US.

I have a strange deep feeling that Ghana will ultimately frick the US again.

No. Portugal wins and the US has a much better chance to go through because of goal differential IF we lose to Germany.

ETA: I was wrong a tie would be best. I keep thinking Ghana has 3 points for some reason.

Germany and USMNT should just let the ball sit for 90 minutes... both teams advance.

This is what I was thinking but a tie actually guarantees the US advances.

Yeah like I said above I keep thinking Ghana has 3 points for some reason. I've already RA'd for this thread to be removed.

Assuming we don't get drummed by the Germans, we go through with a Portugal win or draw.

Honestly I think Ghana beats Portugal. I don't think Portugal has it in them to beat Ghana.

They would be stupid not to do this, or just agree to a tie before the game.

I've got it figured out. USA and Germany agree to a draw pregame! We both advance guaranteed and save beating up each other!

Now I'm the one not reading previous posts.
