The #usmnt will play Ukraine away on March 5 (per @SoccerInsider)
I like it I guess, they were 90 minutes away from topping France for a World Cup spot.

Should be a good pre-WC test against a strong side on their home ground. I feel any away game in Europe helps add valuable experience, even if just a friendly.

Not a bad match up and I remember Jurgen saying he wanted to play a couple of games in Europe this year. Let's go ahead and play Portugal and see how we do.

I hope they don't have the racism issues that happened during the Euros.

Will the Ukrainian women still let you C on their Ts if the USA wins?

Hendo, asking the tough questions.
But seriously thenry we need an answer.
Also, how do the Ukrainian women like American men? Or are you stuck in a small village with babushkas?

"Call me Russia because I'm imposing my will on you, m'lady" is gold with Ukrainian women.

Would American fans be safe at this match? Might look into attending this one

The problem with Ukrainian women is that they age ungodly fast. At 15 they look 25 and by 30, they're already babushkas. By 23, you're basically a spinster if unmarried. This gives you a small window of opportunity
Therein lies my dilemma.
I've been to two Ukraine national team games in Kyiv. From my experiences, visiting fans are typically treated quite well, as national team games are quite jovial by Ukrainian football standards. Not to mention, I don't know how many will show up to this game. The USMNT isn't exactly as hot of a draw for fans as a World Cup playoff against France.
If this game is in Lviv (the hotbed of Ukrainian nationalism), there should be a good turnout. If it's in Kyiv or Kharkiv, expect lots of empty seats. My friends went to a Ukraine vs. Cameroon friendly a few months ago, arriving 30 minutes prior to kickoff, and scored tickets for like 30 hriven (about $3.50).
