I personally believe they are singling out people with these kits. They need to have a kit for Christians, Muslims, short people, fat people, and soccer haters.

It's only equality when truly everyone is represented.

Because most normal people don’t want it to become the norm where people openly celebrate what they do in their bedroom.

They only do it because they are and have been oppressed/attacked.

If they had a problem with it they wouldn’t be playing in it. If they want to wear it then who cares.

He does look fabulous though

Things have come a long way over the years, but it’s not like locker rooms have been historically accepting of homosexuality. Regardless of your opinion, feels a little less disingenuous than most

At the end of the day, it’s a shirt with a company’s fricking logo on it that changes every five minutes, not some sacred artifact

I’m not a fan of any colors besides red, white, and blue being in our national team kit. Only the colors on our flag (or slight variations of those like the Bomb Pop kits from 2013-14) belong.

No rainbow colors, no neon yellow, and no black.

The rainbow numbers don’t make me angry or anything, but I don’t think it’s proper for a national team kit. Especially on the men’s side. It certainly doesn’t help the stigma of soccer being a “gay sport”, which needs to be broken for soccer to really grow to be accepted in the mainstream in this country. I’d rather they stick with our national colors, but whatever.

I didn’t like it - so I turned it off.
If they want to wear rainbow bodysuits with pink tutus they can. And I won’t watch.
I’m not much of a soccer fan, but I do try to support our national team. I was going to watch to support the USA, but they decided to make it about something else.

Instead of the USA flag on our kit we have a picture of Alex Morgan in a bikini.

I would argue supporting gay people isn’t a political issue.

This post is fricking stupid.

Support? YOu mean just like yelling "yay go gay!"

or you mean tangible support...like through policy....you know....politics.

Also why can i simply "not oppose"? To require someone (in this case a player for the USMNT) to outwardly show they support something they may not want to outwardly support is wrong...and silly. If they are forced to wear it, then its meaningless.

Also, one could argue that "killing the unborn" isnt a political issue. So i patiently await the anti-abortion jerseys.

There's a difference between this and just not giving a shite about rainbow numbers on a jersey for one match.

Huh? lol

im pointing out that "support" is never just "yay" and its always political as its got some sort of policy based activity associated with it.
