And that seals another utterly dominant performance against a European powerhouse this tourney

Looking at Italy's roster, it looks like it's majority dudes that are either on the reserve squad of Serie A clubs or guys not playing top flight.
France has Kamara who just broke in with PSG this year, but I wonder how many of these big clubs are releasing their players for this. I know that we had Kochen recalled by Barcelona just to sit on the bench, so I have to imagine that is the case for a lot of the U-20 Euros if their club rates them at all.
Still, this is a massive platform to inject some much-needed good feelings into the USMNT. I don't see why there is any reason to believe we can't frick around and make a run to the finals.

It's not a FIFA-required release event so clubs are under no obligation to let players go. I mean, Lamine Yamal qualifies to play in this tournament for Spain.

Even with senior team call ups? Wild if so.

You can play U-20 even if you've received a senior team call ups but still fit the age range.
Our captain, Benja Cremaschi has had a cap for the USMNT.

Three Americans this tournament had experience playing in the last U20 tournament. Wynder, Tsakiris, and… Vargas :-(

Speaking of, there's a non-zero chance that the final could be USA v Mexico.
Mexico, with a bunch of our dual nats, has looked very good. They stomped the hosts, Chile, in their Round of 16 match.
Morocco is going to be a tough one for us though. They may be the best side left.

Thought we beat them 4-1 and drew 0-0 in our last two meetings with them.

We did in September.
But they are still very good.

We are slipping and sliding all over the pitch. What the heck?

Good pk right before half. Much needed. Clearly the better team so need to put it away in the 2nd half.

Cole Campbell penalty makes it 1-1 right before the half.
We've had pretty much all control of the ball during the match but not many true chances. Morocco is sitting everyone back and waiting to hit on the counter which is how they got their goal.
We got lucky on the penalty, it was a looping cross to the back post that wouldn't have turned into anything, but a Morocco defender stupidly pulled down one of our players in the mixer with the ref right in front of him.

Weird sequence there, everyone including the ref acted that guy had a body part snap off. Just a slightly rough landing and he's totally fine.

How the frick did they score that?
ETA: Are we about to get eliminated by an own goal?
