We look like we have no answers against their low block.

Need to finish that. Volley from the 6 with half the goal open and sky it...

Pain. As usual for our youth teams at their respective world cups.

We've only had one shot on target, not counting the penalty.

I missed the game and it sucks that we lost (I love following the U20 and U17 cycles), but from reading online it sounds like we probably win if we have our better keeper. Shame Barca recalled him just to sit on the bench.
That said, the fact that we’ve made the quarterfinals five times in a row speaks wonders to our talent development pipeline and the steady rise of the floor of the USMNT. Only Brazil has made the U20 quarters more consecutive times (13! until the streak was broken 20 years ago).
Fun fact, Josh Wynder has now scored 3 own goals at the U20 World Cup, including two in knockout games.
Players that impressed me: Raines, Cremaschi, Westfield, Habroune
Players that disappointed me: Campbell, Beaudry, Wynder
Surprised Miller, Bombino, and Soma didn’t play more
