Hah, I actually like the new shirt. I don't think it's fair to judge the shirt alone. When numbers, shorts, and socks are added it will look like a proper kit. But the shirt alone does more resemble a college football coach's polo.

I like it, as I am fond of collared football shirts, always have been. I grew up in the 70s and 80s and seen my share of people "dressing up" in v-neck velour shirts V-neck kits always remind me of those days. Yes I look back fondly on my youth, but not some of the terrible clothing styles.
I like the old crest, before they put the gold around it. I have a 1990-1992 Adi shirt, and it had just the U.S. with the flying ball. The "new badge" after 1994 looked way better, especially with the navy stripes. I've grown quite fond of it, and am not best pleased with the gold trim, or even the new blue.
