I saw 2 games at Brazil 2014 and one was Mexico Cameroon

Mexican fans were the absolute worst. Standing wearing huge sombreros so nobody could see with banned artificial noisemakers. Chanting same stuff. Worst part was the ones wearing US jerseys that were going to be back in a few days “supporting” US too. Aggravating all over the city

They are the worst. Especially the ones that live in the US.

Mexico fans stopping the game with a homophobic chant, leading to 7 minutes extra, and scoring late in the 8th may be the most CONCACAF thing I’ve ever heard of

They make good food and tequila, I’ll give them that. But that’s all I really got.

I don't understand how pausing the game for one teams fans issues, this leading to a ton of extra time, is in any way a punishment for the offending fans and team. Mexico should have to play with 10 for like 5 mins. Not stand there and have a powwow at midfield

He's a high work-rate guy who makes good runs and has positional awareness that even strikers in the top 4 leagues don't have. I know we joke about the accidental goals and assists, but those only happen because he always gets open in dangerous spots.

It's just that his touch lets him down far too often. It's something that has kept him from becoming potentially the most complete striker this country has ever had. And at this point in his career, it seems like any chance of him gaining that skill has passed him by.
