How many times under GGG have Gio Pulisic and Weah all started together? At the highest levels you need difference makers in attack. Ferreira isn’t it. His MLS favorites aren’t it. The freedom we showed tonight in the attacked 1/3 weren’t there under GGG. It’s obvious GGG can’t figure out how to squeeze the best out of this player pool. To hire him back is asinine.

Gregg was watching this game tonight and probably thought “this is good…. but Jordan Morris would make it better.”

You mean like when he started all those MLS guys against England?

That's not a fair example because either Pulisic or Gio or both were injured so often it wasn't an option.

Like the 3 most important games of the 4 year cycle? They were both hurt?

Well supposedly Gio was still getting back to fitness, and thats where all the drama came from. Either way he wasn't going to start on the wing over Weah and Adams, Weston, and Musah had the best chemistry in midfield at the time.

Also, I can't believe they're still talking about this bullshite and haven't shown a single fricking highlight yet.

Kate made a good point about what kind of message you are sending if you hire back a wife-beater. Why I think there just weren’t any other good options. Reeks of Hugh Freeze at Auburn. “We don’t care if you are a shitty person, as long as you win!”

Ah so you're pushing the goalposts now.

What does that have to do with MLS favorites, which is the biggest fallacy that the #NEVERGREGG people keep pushing.

Gregg's rosters had less MLS players on average than Klinsmann, Bruce 2.0 and Bob did.

There is also more players in top leagues in Europe. What is your point?

You're right, it is a problem that Gio wasn't fit coming into the World Cup.

What don’t I get?

Adams
Pulsic
Gio

Those should be the first 3 on the team sheet every match.

Not to mention, not even personal, tactically, he is horrendous. We were set up much better tonight.

And yes I’m saying that we are better with either Gio in the 10 or MF over Weston (or Musah) or over Weah. Creative players like that are difference makers.

Eh, that story is what it is. It was a long time ago, they weren’t married, and the focus should be on his lack of ability to coach more so than that stuff.

I thought it was Weah, Pulisic, Gio?

If you're going with those three. Gregg started them together everytime they were fully fit.

Weah is arguably our most creative player did you not watch tonight or the past 2 years?

And no one is arguing for Greggggggg to get the job, or that his tactics and formations were bad. No one on this board wants him back.
