Things that will happen tonight:
Zardes will accidentally deflect a ball off his hamstring and score.
Beckerman will shut down messi, but others will score.
US will be down 1 by with 5 minutes to go and Wondo will sub on, but dempsey tie us up to go to penalties.
Guzan shuts down Argentina and he is signed by Atlanta United FC Sporting Soccer Club Team

I doubt that. At the Gold Cup semis in Houston in 2011, most of the Mexican fans seemed to be pulling for the US in the early game. I saw a lot of half-Mexico half-USA jerseys. Also, there were a bunch of families with the parents wearing Mexico jerseys while the kids wore USA jerseys.

I saw this too, and it was kind of cool. The final was different though. They all pulled for Mexico and the crowd was violently hostile towards American fans.

Yeah, that is expected. It was USA vs. Mexico. Of course, the violent part of that is unacceptable.
I do expect to see some non-Argentina fans pulling for them more than Panama was pulled for, though. I would think it's going to be like the number of Laker and LeBron fans in the Smoothie King Center when they are in town playing the Pels.
