Unfortunately, you are talking about players who were never called in (Jurgen's fault). With the options we had, Wondo was the only one that should not have seen the pitch.

and beckerman. Too old and slow to play at this level anymore.

Plug pretty much anyone else on the roster in for those two and it would have been better. That isn't including those never getting calls.

Argentina has 25 mid fielders better than any of ours. Their attack is the deepest on the planet. That anyone expected another result is nuts.

He does work very hard, and his one cross was actually really good. But other than that, he was awful. Simply not skilled enough to be on the pitch. Great athlete, but no technical ability.

I fully expected a loss....but this was embarrasing. We got whooped. Beckerman and Wondo both had extremely negative impacts on our performance.

Argentina wasn't even pushing for goals. They were in cruise mode. They probably could have scored 10 tonight if they wanted to.

i've shite on zardes a bunch but he does have a role, esp in a game like this with the card issues

being big and fast does open things up IF used properly

we did not use him well this game

Zardes created 2 quality chances. 2 of the only 3 we got. He relieved a lot of pressure down the right side. That is his game. That is his role. What else do you want from him? He isn't Di Maria.

Using any player properly would not have mattered. This was a team so vastly more talented that it had no bearing on the outcome. Better tactics would have meant a slow bleed.

I'm sure they were pissing themselves at the threat wondo brings. Wondo is complete and utter fricking garbage. I would feel more confident with a woman's team striker vs him up top.

Dominated? Lol no. It was an equal game up until the first bullshite goal Bravo allowed. Then Chile started to dominate only to have a second goal go in off a deflection. Only after being down 2-0 did they start to get worked. They still managed to score though. It'll be a close game if they meet again.

Not to come running to Wondo's defense - but he wasn't going to succeed last night for more reasons than his ability. He's good in MLS because he finds space to run into and puts the ball away when it comes his way.

Last night, there was:

- no space
- no time to run into it
- no one to deliver a ball into the non-existent space

Somebody on the broadcast said it - Zlatan would have been useless in that game last night.

And you can heap shite on him for the foul - but that was absolutely the right thing to do in that situation. What's the better option? Let Messi run into the 18, unmarked? No, you stop him right there, and make him beat you with a free kick. He did

For the 1000th time, the only reason messi had the ball right there is because wondolowski himself inexplicably took a 40 yard touch backwards directly to Argentinas feet for a counter attack. No matter how you spin that foul/free kick, it was all wondos fault.

Any keeper that gives up a goal to garbage wondo should bang themselves. The fricking clown sucks. A youth player could have chipped in his insane Belgium miss.

He fricking sucks and should have told jurgy no thanks on the call up.

He gave away the ball that lead to the free kick.
